Today Ed Cooke and Daniel Zohar announced Mindmax's $3.3m round, which Concept Ventures proudly led.
Mindmax is developing AI-powered learning tools designed to help people acquire new skills, retain information and prepare for professional qualifications. It figures out what you already know and builds the lesson around that, drawing things out as it explains. Thousands of people are already using it to get through the professional exams between them and their next job.
Ed previously co-founded Memrise, where he worked alongside Daniel to help millions of people learn. He has spent his career obsessing over how people learn and remember information.
The round was led by Concept Ventures, with participation from Redrice Ventures, Daybreak Ventures and US investor Lerer Hippeau. Angel investors include Maria Raga, former CEO of Depop, and Torsten Reil, co-founder of Helsing.
